Fire Breaks Out at NASCAR Race Shop Damaging 04 cars
Concord and Harrisburg were alerted earlier this morning as a fire had broken out in Leavine’s Racing Shop. The building was seen alight with smoke leaving the store. The shop on Victory Lane was brought under control after over an hour since the fire broke out.
The marshal at the scene informed that the source of the fire was yet to be determined but all the vehicles (four cars in total) were destroyed by the fire covering about 8000 square feet.
Officials from the team associated with the shop also confirmed the fire and reported that there were no injuries. The team has been in prep or the Kansas Spongebob 400 and expressed that this setback has not affected their progress for the race. Leavine Family Racing, which owns the shop runs at No. 95 driven by Michael McDowell.
