Father’s Day Campaign Launched by NASCAR

NASCAR has some great family traditions especially between Fathers and sons. Many of the drivers have had famous fathers who also drove in NASCAR such as Earnhardt, Petty, France and Jarratt and so it makes sense for them to celebrate Father’s Day in style. They have announced that they will be promoting ‘NASCAR with Dad’. This is a campaign based around memorable moments at NASCAR for father and sons, both for the drivers as well as all of the dedicated fans.

NASCAR are working together with some of their sponsors, Ford, 3M and Goodyear to create some sweepstakes. The prizes include a Goodyear blimp ride above the Ford Championship weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The prize also includes $500 cash, hospitality and the chance to meet drivers. There are also additional prizes of NASCAR racing experiences where Dads and sons can experience driving a NASCAR-style stock car. TheNASCAR managing director of marketing platforms, Matt Shulman explained that there have been many parents and children bond during NASCAR and this is a campaign to celebrate that. Fans of NASCAR are being encouraged to share their best NASCAR moments shared with their Dad on social media using the hashtag #NASCARwithDAD. It is possible to share content on the given website as well.

On top of this there will be surprises for fans on the race track on the weekend of Father’s Day. There will be unique experiences on offer provided by 3M, Sprint, Ford and Goodyear, the race sponsors, at the Michigan International Speedway.

The race this weekend though is the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race taking place at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It takes places at 7pm ET on Saturday night.
